H. W. Bush

Michael Maiden, has finished a Life-and-a quarter scaled bronze sculpture of our 41st president, George H.W. Bush. The nearly 8 foot tall sculpture depicts H.W. Bush as the 19 year old Naval Pilot, who served during WWII. Bush, at the time, was the youngest pilot flying in the Navy. 

The monument is now permanently installed on the hangar deck of CVN-77, the 1,100 foot long, 20 story tall aircraft carrier, commissioned on January 10th, 2009 in Norfolk, Virginia.
